About Me

     My name is Da'Quarius McIntyre, born and raised in Charlotte, NC. Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated with music videos and film-studying visuals, storytelling and the impact they have on the culture. Lil Wayne was always one of my biggest inspirations and I used to tell myself I'd work with him one day. In 2021, that dream became reality when I produced and edited "Lonely" by DaBaby featuring Lil Wayne. That moment wasn't just a milestone-it was proof that vision, consistency, and belief can take you further than you ever imagined. Back in 2017, I took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles to chase my dreams with a production team called Reel Goats. They were already known for creating amazing videos while working with talented local artists. During that time, I wore many hats-gaffer, production assistant, editor, producer and project coordinator. Learning every layer of the craft and building the foundation of who I am today.

     My journey really started to accelerate when I worked on "Nervous" by Famous Dex featuring Jay Critch and Rich The Kid in 2018, opening doors to the music industry and bringing in new opportunities. Which was presented by Kareem Johnson, who is the vice president of creative strategy at atlantic records. His main responsibility is to commission music videos. Around that same time, We (Reel Goats) worked closely with DaBaby during his rise, I served as a daily DP and editor for lifestyle content, concerts, tours and later as a video producer on the viral hit "Suge". That project helped shift the culture and earned a grammy nomination, marking a defining era in the music video history. In 2021, this record became 4X Platinum. 

 

   

     After stepping away from Reel Goats, I moved back home and created my company Gemini Vision. Where I've continued to create impactful, culture shifting visuals and help artists evolve into icons. To date, I've been apart of over 15 platinum plaques and every step of my journey has shaped me into the creative I am today. I wouldn't trade my story for anything. It's the reason, I create the way I do.
